Lacey and Mike’s wedding this past fall was a joyous, beautiful occasion, and I was honored to be asked to shoot for it. It was a sunny November day here in Seattle, which produced some beautiful photos.
The day began with “getting ready” photos at the Hyatt Olive 8 hotel. There I was able to get some photos of the dresses being worn by the bridal party, as well as the gorgeous vintage dress Lacey would be wearing. The wedding dress was first worn by her mother, who passed it on to Lacey for her special day. What a beautiful heirloom!
We took all of the family and bridal party photos at Lake Union Café in Seattle. It was my first time shooting at this location, and I have really fallen in love with it since then. There are so many great locations for photos, especially at certain times of the day when the lighting is just right.
Mike’s two daughters were able to be in the wedding, and the youngest even sported a cute tuxedo dress.
It was a fun, memorable occasion and I’m pleased to have been a part of it!
