For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for photography. I first started photography while in high school taking a photography class and working for our school yearbook.
I later photographed my first wedding and that is where I learned to capture all the love, joy and happinesses of the day and I knew immediately that is what made my heart full!

Even though I was accepted to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. I wasn't able to attend because of the cost of tuition. I continued my education at Spokane Falls Community College and then Central Washington University (CWU). At CWU I received my bachelors degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in psychology. Honestly, I believe my psychology minor is what helps me the most with photography, allowing me to understand the needs of my clients, their personalities and how to best capture their special day.

was born in Mexico and moved to Washington with my family when I was nine years old. I love this country and the many opportunities I’ve been given throughout my life and continue to receive to this day.

When I am not photographing clients, I am most likely chasing the sun to our second home in Palm Springs. I love to run, workout, ride bikes and paddle board. I try to stay as active as possible and enjoy the beautiful outdoors.
But in all honesty my very favorite thing to do is stay home with my husband and our two pugs Bella & Frank. "I love cuddling those two!"

Travel makes you more open-minded and knowledgeable of other people’s experiences. I have been to more than 15 countries and have had the opportunity of experiencing many cultures and communities.

Miguel photographed my wedding, which was featured in Seattle Bride magazine as well as Style Me Pretty. Ever since, I have invested in having Miguel photograph the major events of me and my family's life -- our annual Christmas cards, my maternity shoot, our newborn announcements, our first family photos as a family of 3, my daughter's 1st birthday cake smash.. everything. Miguel is exceptionally talented and all of our friends and family commented on how wonderful the photos turned out, and how friendly and nice he is. In addition, he gave us a sneak peek of a few of our photos the very next day and got all the rest of them done within a few weeks (we were barely even back from our honeymoon!). Miguel is incredible. He's professional, friendly, caring, and lovely while also having a keen eye. We hired a photographer, but we gained a friend; I know that sounds beyond cheesy, but he seriously is a light in this world. I knew wedding day would be busy, but looking back it was an absolute blur. To have a trusting, reliable photographer (+ assistant) working with us on that day was KEY.
My husband and I can't praise Miguel enough: he's not only extremely talented in his art, he's also such a wonderful person and a pleasure to work with.
