I always love when the subjects for my photo shoots get creative with their ideas. For their engagement shoot, Alyssa and Brad decided they wanted a casual picnic atmosphere, and it turned out to be a lot of fun!
We took their photos at Lincoln Park in West Seattle. When we arrived, Alyssa and Brad did a great job of finding the perfect place tucked away in the middle of the park to give their photos an intimate atmosphere. I have to say, they had a keen eye for style in their shoot!
All of the props you see in the above photo were theirs. They brought along their own beer growlers, a bottle of wine, some cheese, a sliced apple, a baguette and white tulips from the wedding of Lauren and Suvir the previous night (at which I was also the photographer).
As the sun began to set, we packed up their little picnic and headed over to Lowman Beach just next to Lincoln Park, where we took some beautiful sunset photos.
Overall, it was a fun and creative shoot, and Alyssa and Brad were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Couples like them make my job easy and extremely enjoyable, and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in October!
