I was thrilled when Marissa approached me last year and asked me to shoot her and Daniel’s engagement photos. I was even more excited to shoot the wedding of a person with whom I have been friends for 17 years. The day was every bit as beautiful as Marissa and Daniel could have possibly hoped for, and I was so glad to be a part of it!
The ceremony and reception were so simple and genuine — it was held in Marissa’s parents’ backyard. Her parents had built and maintained their backyard in a way to make it picture-perfect for their daughter’s wedding day. It may have been a small gathering, but there was plenty of love to be had with the new spouses surrounded by friends and family.
Afterwards, Marissa, Daniel and I all headed over to a nearby park to capture a few more beautiful pictures of the two on their wedding day. The lighting and scenery at Linden Tree Park made for some fantastic photos.
Once again, congratulations to Marissa and Daniel, I am so happy for both of you!
