Amy and Daniel’s Palm Springs wedding at Sandpiper was truly a feast for the eyes. The day started with Amy and her bridal party getting ready at one of the charming condos owned by her mom within the Sandpiper community. Daniel and his groomsmen prepared at another condo in the same community, making it easy for me to capture those special moments of anticipation and excitement on both sides.
The Sandpiper community, known for its mid-century modern design and lush surroundings, provided the perfect backdrop for this Palm Springs wedding. For the ceremony, Amy and Daniel chose a traditional white wedding dress and a classic black tuxedo. However, they encouraged their guests to go all out with vibrant colors, mirroring the lively palette they showcased during the rehearsal the night before. This colorful attire added an extra layer of festivity and visual appeal to their special day.
The ceremony took place under mature palm trees, where a colorful arbor adorned with stunning florals set the stage for Amy and Daniel’s vows. The aisle was beautifully decorated with petals, creating a vibrant pathway for the bride and groom.
One of the highlights of the day was the cocktail hour and reception around the community pool. The warm Palm Springs weather was ideal for outdoor festivities, and the setting around the pool added a relaxed, yet elegant, atmosphere. Guests mingled, enjoyed delicious hors d’oeuvres, and celebrated the newlyweds in style.
As the sun began to set, we took advantage of the golden hour to capture some breathtaking photos. The light shining through the palm trees created a beautiful glow, perfectly complementing Amy and Daniel’s radiant love for each other. These moments were truly magical, and I’m so grateful to have had the opportunity to document them.
The evening festivities included a lively dance around the pool, with music provided by the talented DJs Jaqui and Wes from Wunderland Events. After 10 PM, respecting the Palm Springs noise ordinance, the party continued with a silent disco. This unique twist allowed the celebration to carry on without disturbing the peaceful surroundings of the Sandpiper community.
No Palm Springs wedding would be complete without a splash in the pool! As the night drew to a close, Amy and Daniel, along with their guests, jumped into the pool, adding a fun and memorable finale to an already perfect day. The joy and spontaneity of this moment captured the true essence of their celebration.

The vibrant colors, the stunning venue, and the love shared between the couple and their guests made it a day to remember.
