I’ve know Maribel for about 17 years. We met in 6th grade at Pioneer Middle School and we have been friends ever since. When she contacted me to shoot her family photos I was thrilled! Not only because I knew we would get great photos, but also because I was excited to hang out with her and her beautiful family.
Her family was so much fun to work with! One moment that cracks me up and you can see her family laughing with BIG SMILES, was when I was trying to get her little one to look at the camera. I found a long stick and a metal can, stuck the stick in the can and made a makeshift rattle to grab his attention. That made us all laugh! I could barely take a picture without making it too blurry. Oh fun times!
The pictures turned out great, even though it was a hot spring day in the Wenatchee and I typically don’t shoot in the mid-day sun because the sun cast shadows on faces. Check out some of the great photos of the beautiful Mendez Family.
