A couple weeks ago, Momentous Image got to shoot their very first wedding! We headed over to Cama Beach State Park to celebrate Matthew and Kristel’s special day. The cozy little ocean front camp grounds, lined with wooden cabins and a green forest backdrop, made for the perfect landscape for this fairy tail wedding.
While the bride and her bride-maids were getting ready in their private bungalow, the grooms-men got ready in their own cabin at the other end of the camp ground. And Momentous Image was there to capture it all – from the girl’s makeup and hair, to the boy’s ties and converse shoes.
The bride had on a beautiful lace dress, complete with a blue ribbon and her grandmothers diamond crested broach. Her and the other brides-maids held homemade bouquets with twine detail wrapped around at the bottom. The boys were very handsome in their tuxes accented with blue accessaries and music note designed paper boutonnieres they got on Etsy.
The ceremony was beautiful! The ceiling was covered in Chinese lanterns and white lights. The alter was a stone fireplace and the tables were covered in handpicked assorted wild flowers. Michelle Banks from Spiral Design Studios put everything together in a few short hours, and it was absolutely gorgeous.
The whole day was full of smiles, laughter and stolen kisses. Matthew and Kristel were so happy the love radiated from them. From the vows to the first dance, the entire wedding was full of love. It was such an honor to capture this amazing day. Congratulations again to the happy couple!
