The bride got ready at Hotel Murano with a bunch of her close friends and family, while Danny got ready at home with his close friends.
Of course, it was pouring rain! But we still continued with our plan to have the first look outside at the Murray Morgan Bridge. Danny works for the Port of Tacoma so it was special for him to have the bridge in the background with the Port of Tacoma sign showing. We got some pretty epic photos and this will be a first look I will never forget. We only lost one umbrella, which broke in half because it was so windy!
Since we were in downtown Tacoma before the wedding at the Pioneer Park Pavilion we were able to utilize the lobby of the Court House Square building (also the US Post Office) to get all of the portraits done. While we were doing portraits the people in the bridal party were able to relax and have drinks at En Rama.
After all the photos were done we then headed to the Pioneer Park Pavilion venue in Puyallup, where the wedding took place. I’ve never photographed there before but it was a stunning venue with lots of room for their 240 guests. Let me tell you this it was a full house and you could definitely feel the love each of the guests felt for the newlywed couple!
Thank you to my awesome associate photographer Stephanie Keegan for all your work and not only battlingg the rain but also getting some beautiful photos at the same time!
