I had the honor to photograph my little sister Alma’s wedding. I am so incredibly happy for her and her new husband, Diego. The ceremony was held on Alki, on a beautiful sunny day. With the breathtaking Seattle cityscape and clear blue water, complete with orange Chinese lanterns and yellow flowers, the bride walked down the aisle towards her handsome husband-to-be.
Exchanging vows and lovable smiles at each other, the bride and groom were finally announced husband and wife! Mr. and Mrs. Lima kissed, the crowd cheered, and it was time to party!
The reception was held at the Aqua Club in Kenmore, WA. Tables and chairs were covered in silk, there was a table covered in assorted candies, and there was delicious Brazilian & Mexican food fresh from the kitchen. Loud music filled the air and family and friends danced the night away. The bride and groom did the traditional money dance, the tossing of the bouquet and garter, and a keg stand or two each.
It was such a fun wedding! There was hardly a minute when someone wasn’t dancing, laughing, or congratulating the happy couple. I am so happy for my baby sister and happy to welcome diego into our family! Congratulations again!
