I was thrilled to have the opportunity to shoot the wedding of Rebecca and Korey, which was a beautiful backyard ceremony held in Rebecca’s aunt’s garden. You can tell Rebecca’s aunt truly loves to take care of her garden—it is beautifully, perfectly manicured, and has some stunning dahlias.
There was a small chance of rain for the day, so they had some tents put up, but this didn’t detract at all from the gorgeous surroundings. Of course, since they had gone through the trouble of preparing for rain, it didn’t end up raining at all—isn’t that how it always works?
This house is a true hidden treasure, located near Edmonds in Woodway. There are so many beautiful homes in this area. The ceremony was an intimate one, which made it an honor just to be there and be a small part of the day.
From the moment Korey saw Rebecca walking down that picture-perfect garden and aisle, the tears were flowing freely. Rebecca was absolutely stunning—I think everyone present got a little emotional. What a sweet, wonderful moment.
We took photos all over the house and garden, and afterward headed to Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant for dinner. Rebecca and Korey had the entire restaurant reserved, and the staff was so nice and accommodating.
You couldn’t ask for a more perfect day for a wedding or a more authentic celebration. Congratulations to Rebecca and Korey!
