Melissa & Ben | Robinswood House

I met Melissa and Ben about a year ago while I was shooting Tara and Todd’s wedding, at which Melissa was the maid of honor. Melissa did such an amazing job and made everything flow so easily for me as a photographer.

Fast forward a year later to July 30^th, and it was Melissa’s turn to say “I Do,” with Tara being just as good of a maid of honor as Melissa had been the year before!

Ben and Melissa met in Bellingham in 2006, while they were attending Western Washington University. They make the sweetest, kindest couple you could imagine. Ben is such a kind-hearted guy who makes friends with basically anyone he meets. He will talk to you and genuinely want to know how you are doing, and it makes you instantly love the guy. It’s easy to see why Melissa fell in love with him.

The wedding day went off without a hitch, thanks to Melissa’s incredible organization. It was a perfect summer day in Bellevue at their venue, the Robinswood House. The weather, scenery and beautiful couple made things easy on me as a photographer!

Melissa looked absolutely gorgeous. It’s always refreshing to see a beautiful bride look so incredibly calm and happy on the day of her wedding, when it’s so easy to become stressed out or exhausted. Melissa was in her element, and it was so much fun to watch.

The wedding itself was a fun occasion as well. It was so great to see Melissa and Ben surrounded by such loving, caring family members and friends.

I know I say this a lot, but I thank God every day for the friendships I make with my clients who go on to become such great friends. Ben and Melissa already promised me a double date to eat Ramen, and I can’t wait.
