Kayla & Adam | Atam Winery

I recently had the chance to shoot Kayla and Adam’s wedding. Kayla actually first found me through Instagram when she saw another image I’d taken at her wedding venue—Atam Winery in Manson, Washington. I’d never had a client find me through Instagram before, and right around that time was when I’d actually started paying attention to what I’d posted and making sure I used the correct hashtags.

I’m glad it worked out, because Kayla and Adam are such a great couple. We met for the first time in Capital Hill in Seattle, WA, and I loved them from the minute we met. Kayla and Adam were so excited to be engaged and that they’d found each other, and their happiness was extremely contagious. They’d gotten engaged in San Francisco, one of my favorite cities, and the city I got married in myself!

Hanging out with Kayla and Adam felt like hanging out with dear friends. They were so easygoing, love to laugh, and I have to say, they both have great fashion sense!

On their wedding day, I arrived early to get started with detailed shots. I love when my brides have read my bridal guide (you will get a copy when you book with me) and are ready with all the details to make things easier on me. I didn’t have to go hunting around to figure out what was where—everything was very organized!

Despite the cold and windy day, it was still beautiful. There were plenty of tears shed. I loved seeing the love that Kayla’s brothers have for her, and they weren’t afraid to show it, shedding some tears themselves!

I also have to give a shoutout to the DJ, Tim Humphrey from Ideal Entertainment. He was very professional, personal, and kept the guests entertained and having a great time. I love working with other vendors who are focused on giving their couple a great time!

These two were so much fun to spend time with, and I can’t wait to continue our friendship. I wish them best of luck, and a great time on their honeymoon in France & Italy!
